1 Questions

Q1How quickly will I know?
Within a week. ASIC's public file is updated weekly, so an alert comes after that week's file. It isn't same-day. For the notice itself, we link you to ASIC.
Q2ASIC has a free company alert. Why would I pay?
For a handful of customers, ASIC's free service may be all you need. It takes up to 125 companies, one at a time, and alerts expire. This takes your whole list at once, finds the company behind a trading name, shows what each one owes you, and tells you in plain words.
Q3Many of my customers trade under a different name. Does that work?
Yes, usually. It finds the ABN behind a registered business name and shows you the match to confirm. If there are several, you choose.
Q4What about sole traders and trusts?
They aren't on ASIC's company register. For those we watch the ABN record, and tell you if the ABN is cancelled. That's a weaker signal, and we say so on each one.
Q5Is this a credit score?
No. It reports public register changes on companies. It doesn't score anyone, and it says nothing about individuals' credit.
Q6What should I do when I get an alert?
Read the notice, and talk to your accountant or lawyer. Lawyers commonly point to pausing supply, checking any retention of title, and lodging a proof of debt. This is information, not legal advice.
Q7What does it cost?
$59 a month for up to 300 customers. The first 7 days are free with no card, and you can cancel any time.
Q8Who can sign up?
Businesses only.
Q9Does a clear status mean a customer will pay me?
No. We show what ASIC's public record says. We don't see payment history, bank data or court claims, and a business can stop paying long before anything is filed. Keep watching your own overdue accounts.
